~ with Eduard Manet’s ‘Olympia’ (c 1863) sitting against a tagged wall on Utica Ave in Flatbush, Brooklyn with alchemy life and death symbols (combined/entwined/added by Nia). Olympia, who caused a stir upon her first public appearance by unabashedly looking at the viewer and being a prostitute, is now accompanied by (endangered) monarch butterflies flying towards the dark side of the moon (emoji) and an (endangered) ring-tailed lemur aka lemur catta drawn by George Edwards (zoological drawing circa 1749 – 1776). The lemur is holding one of Paul Cezanne’s apples from ‘still life with milk jug and fruit’ (c 1900) ~
